To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use or inability to use the product, including but not limited to personal injury, emotional distress, loss of profits, and general loss.

 

2. Assumption of Risk

 

-Meeting strangers involves inherent risk

-The user knowingly accepts those risks

-The product does not remove or reduce them

-User acknowledges risks of interacting with strangers

-Risks are voluntary and understood

-Product does not guarantee safety

The user acknowledges that social interactions, including meeting new individuals, involve inherent risks. By using the product, the user voluntarily assumes all risks associated with such interactions and agrees that the Company is not responsible for any resulting outcomes.

 

3. No Endorsement or Matchmaking

 

We are not providing:

-A dating service

-A matchmaking company

-A safety-screening platform

-We do not verify, screen, or endorse users

-We do not match people

-The product is purely a passive signal

The Company does not provide matchmaking, dating, screening, or endorsement services. The product functions solely as a passive social indicator and does not represent or guarantee the intentions, character, or conduct of any individual.

 

4. User Responsibility

 

How the product is used

-Where it is used when required at function/events and chosen public areas

-Discretion on where to wear the wristband - responsible for their own actions

-User must use common sense

-User must comply with local laws

-User must act safely and responsibly

The user is solely responsible for their conduct, decisions, and interactions while using the product. The user agrees to exercise reasonable judgment, comply with applicable laws, and take appropriate safety precautions at all times.

 

5. Indemnification

 

The user agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from the user’s use or misuse of the product or violation of these Terms.

 

6. Jurisdiction & Governing Law

 

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of South Africa, any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the product shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
